Expressive abstract portrait depicting a closeup of a contemplative female. This piece delves into the intersection of my abstract explorations and my figurative background. This muse emerged up with a cool face (filled with things that bloom) and a warm frame of fire and light. It was inspired by a combination of peace and fire. It makes me question, how many times in our lives do we allow ourselves to journey through the garden of everybody else's ideas, even when it compromises being true to our selves. Loved where this piece took me in the creative process.

Artists Statement:
... My art is a quiet pause in a fast-moving world, an invitation to notice the little moments that hold our stories together. Whether I paint soft figurative scenes or expressive abstract works, my focus is always on the emotional footprints we leave in each other’s lives. Born in Puerto Rico and shaped by the vibrant colors of South Florida, I’m inspired by the everyday beauty around me: a gesture, a memory, a shared glance, the changing colors of the sea. My work explores themes of motherhood, identity, resilience, healing, and the tender spaces we move through as humans. I paint to honor both joy and complexity to celebrate love, connection, and the strength found in rebuilding. Through each piece, I hope to offer a moment of calm, a sense of warmth, and a reminder that even “the little things in between”, have beauty worth pausing for.
