The vibrant textured muse in this art piece was inspired by a personal quest to find beauty in unexpected ways. The subject of this mixed-media piece radiates expressiveness, evoking a dreamlike sense of serenity, freedom, and movement, all set against a complex background. Most of my mixed-media pieces are free-flowing and spontaneous; I just let the paint flow between scraps of paper, thread, and sometimes twine. I’m grateful for where this piece took me on my creative journey.
